Arsenal and Manchester United target thought to have signed for Real Madrid

Arturo Vidal is thought to have shunned the Premier League in favour of La Liga

Arsenal and Manchester United target Arturo Vidal has reportedly agreed a five-year deal with Real Madrid.

Arsenal fans had been hoping the Juventus midfielder would be keen to play alongside his Chile teammate Alexis Sanchez at the Emirates next season, but it now seems they are likely to be disappointed.

Manchester United are thought to have cooled on the 28-year-old after an incident during this summer's Copa America in which he crashed his Ferrari and swore at police on the scene.

He is nonetheless a huge talent and it's thought he'll command a large fee to move away from Juve, though both the transfer fee and the player's personal terms are yet to be agreed.
