Manchester United couldn’t even spell their players’ names right in loss to Everton

Manchester United started their season in unexpected fashion by losing 1-0 to Everton. Even the addition of new signing Robin van Persie in the 68th minute couldn't improve a lackluster Man United performance in which David De Gea was the team's standout performer.

In fact, things were so bad that Man United that their kit troubles went beyond the decidedly terrible gingham shirts themselves and extended to spell Anderson's name wrong on the back of his jersey. "Andesron" was the club's final substitute in the 85th minute, but even the inadvertent name change couldn't make him useful.

And so the curse of Robin van Persie begins...or maybe this just shows how anonymous Anderson has become at Man United.
