Arsenal v Liverpool: Entertaining clash at Emirates Stadium

Arsenal and Liverpool will each be hoping to give their fans some early festive cheer when they come face-to-face at the Emirates Stadium in Friday's high profile Premier League clash.

Having won each of the last three consecutive meetings between the teams, Jurgen Klopp's men are available at 9/5 (2.80) with dabblebet to make it four in a row for the first time since 1998 with another victory here.

However, the Gunners have won 13 of their last 14 league games in front of their own fans, and are 6/4 (2.50) favourites to come out on top in this one.

Manchester City are the last league opposition to leave this ground with a single point after earning a 2-2 draw way back in April, but you can get odds of 13/5 (3.60) on the sides cancelling each other out on this occasion.

If recent history is anything to go by, the broadcasters themselves could hardly have chosen a more neutral-friendly fixture for the Christmas weekend than this Friday night clash.

The last 10 league encounters between these teams have averaged 4.2 goals per game, while that number has increased to over five per game in the four since Klopp's arrival at Anfield.

Having found the net in all 23 home league games since a 0-0 draw with Middlesbrough back in October 2016, Arsene Wenger's team look more than capable of helping to ensure the trend of high-scoring meetings continues in this match.

That looks even more likely considering Sunday's 4-0 win over Bournemouth saw the Reds become the first team in top-flight history to have won four consecutive away games by at least three goals.

With both teams in prolific form, odds of 6/5 (2.20) seem more than generous on over 3.5 goals being scored for the eighth league encounter in nine between these sides.

That bet would also have paid out in six of Liverpool's last seven away games and two of Arsenal's last three at home in the league.
