Lacazette in Lemar hint? Cryptic social post gets Arsenal fans excited

Alexandre Lacazette has got Arsenal fans excited with a social media post being interpreted as a transfer message regarding Thomas Lemar.

The Gunners are looking to put a late deal in place for the Monaco midfielder, with a £92 million offer reported to have been accepted.

Liverpool are also in the mix for the highly-rated 21-year-old, who is currently away on international duty.

Lacazette is with him as part of the France squad and Arsenal supporters are hoping that their striker is hinting at a deadline day deal in his message: “Great things take time”.

Lacazette joined the Gunners for £46 million earlier in the summer, as he left his homeland at Lyon to head for Emirates Stadium.

Lemar could be about to tread a similar path, but the clock is ticking for his many suitors.

His situation is also complicated by the fact that France are in World Cup qualifying action on Thursday against the Netherlands.

Any deal, including a medical, would have to be completed around that fixture, with patience required from any of those hoping to tie up an agreement before the deadline passes.
