Considering Liverpool’s weakness at defending set pieces, Wenger may instead opt for Olivier Giroud’s superior aerial threat and strong track record in these fixtures. With five goals to his name against this opposition, Giroud could prove a wise investment at 11/8 (2.38) .
Expected to take part for the first match this season, wantaway Alexis Sanchez is available at 6/4 (2.50) to offer a reminder of his star quality by scoring a sixth goal in five Premier League appearances.
