Alexis Sanchez 31122017

Sanchez to Manchester United, Aubameyang to Arsenal and all the latest odds around Goal's daily transfer show

It looks as if Manchester United may have secured the services of Alexis Sanchez despite the Arsenal frontman previously appearing to opt for a reunion with Pep Guardiola in the January transfer window, but City have seemingly pulled the plug on any deal being completed.

Goal's Peter Staunton and host Miles Chambers sat down to discuss the latest around this blockbuster move and plenty of other topics in Monday's edition of the Daily Transfer Show.

Jose Mourinho's side are just 2/9 (1.22) to beat Stoke City in tonight's Premier League clash at Old Trafford with dabblebet and 7/4 (2.75) to win the division in the betting "without Manchester City". That's essentially a bet on which team comes second, given Guardiola's men are 1/100 (1.01) in the outright market despite their 4-3 defeat at Anfield.

In the Champions League, United are rated as 14/1 (15.0) to win the competition and Sanchez would be eligible to play for them, should a move go through, given that Arsenal failed to qualify this season.

His likely departure doesn't bode well for a Gunners side who are already in dire form. Just one league win in their previous five matches means they are now 6/1 (7.0) for a top four finish with dabblebet.

That solitary victory came at Crystal Palace, who head to the Emirates on Saturday and it's 11/2 (6.50) that Wenger sees his side beaten by the Eagles.

Roy Hodgson's men have come out on top against Southampton and Burnley - and missed a 90th minute penalty against Manchester City which would have seen them beat the champions-elect - since their 3-2 defeat against the north Londoners. They certainly shouldn't be overlooked at 11/2 (6.50) given how lacklustre the hosts have been of late.

Brazilian forward Malcom is being heavily linked with a move to the Emirates Stadium and the 20-year-old would be available in the Europa League, despite playing in Bordeaux's defeat to Videoton in the qualifying rounds earlier in the campaign.

Arsenal are 6/1 (7.0) to win the competition which might now be the best option for qualifying for the Champions League in the 2018-19 season, following Manchester United's example from last term.

Borussia Dortmund are 9/1 (10.0) in the Europa League outright market as Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang continues to be linked with a move away from the club, with Arsenal now being mentioned with Sanchez’s departure seemingly imminent.

An official statement confirmed the Gabon international missed the 0-0 draw with Wolfsburg for disciplinary reasons and Michael Zorc, the club's transfer chief, explained things were becoming "intolerable".

Neymar and Ronaldo were also discussed on the show, with Real Madrid suffering another defeat in La Liga on Saturday prompting suggestions that a potential swap deal for the superstars could be forthcoming.

Los Blancos are now a staggering 19 points behind Barcelona and dabblebet go 40/1 (41.0) that Zinedine Zidane's side win the title ,while it's 8/1 (9.0) with the same firm that Madrid defend their European crown having been draw against PSG in the last 16. The Ligue 1 side are 4/1 (5.0) second favourites behind Manchester City, who lead the market at 11/4 (3.75).
