Huddersfield v Burnley - Draw/Away win
The reverse fixture between these sides back in September ended in a 0-0 stalemate and there might not be much to pick between them at the John Smith's Stadium this time around either.
It's always tough to know the squads that aren't as deep as those at the top of the table will cope with the festive fixture pile up but Burnley have enjoyed playing Huddersfield recently. The Clarets won the previous three head-to-head meetings before the goalless draw at Turf Moor so keeping the away win on side looks a wise option.
Birmingham v Leeds - Away win
Having been saved from relegation last season by Harry Redknapp, things have gone from bad to worse for Birmingham City. A poor start to the new campaign has seen another change of manager but Steve Cotterill has a big job on his hands to keep his new club in the second tier of English football.
Leeds are well in the mix for a play-off place and have now claimed three straight away wins over Barnsley, QPR and Burton Albion. With that in mind, the trip to the West Midlands could easily provide another three points given the Blues’ struggles in front of their own fans this season.
Inter Milan v Lazio - Home win
Title chasing Inter Milan suffered a shock 3-1 reverse at the hands of Udinese in their last Serie A home game but should bounce back against Lazio this weekend. Prior to that defeat, the hosts had won seven of their previous eight games in front of their own fans.
Lazio have scored plenty of goals in Italy's top flight of late but their attacking intent has been dogged by a particularly leaky defence and that could the difference here. It's now no clean sheet in six league games on the road and the visitors could well come up short at the San Siro which has proved a very tough venue to take anything from.
West Brom v Arsenal - Away win
Alan Pardew has taken over from Tony Pulis but as of yet the former Newcastle boss has done little to arrest the Baggies' slide towards the foot of the Premier League table. West Brom may have won the last two matches between the two sides at this venue but they look in serious trouble this year.
The Gunners will be determined to make it back into the Champions League and while a shot at the title is long gone, Arsene Wenger's side should have enough quality to see off a home side that are really struggling to find anything approaching decent form, especially in front of goal.
