Wenger sets Premier League record for most games managed

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has set a Premier League record by taking charge of his 811th career Premier League game.

The Gunners boss broke the mark set by Sir Alex Ferguson when he led the Gunners in Sunday's match at West Bromwich Albion.

Wenger began his two-decade run in north London in 1996, and has led Arsenal to three Premier League titles along with seven FA Cups.

In his 810 league matches at the helm, Wenger has compiled a record of 468 wins, 197 draws and 145 losses.

Though Wenger has bested Ferguson's Premier League mark, the Scottish manager has still taken charge of far more top-flight matches in England.

Ferguson managed 223 First Division matches from 1986 to the advent of the Premier League in 1992, giving him a total of 1,033 in the English top flight.
