Tottenham Hotspur have made a shock late move for Swansea City striker Fernando Llorente.
It was widely expected the Spanish striker would join Chelsea before the transfer window shuts tonight.
But Spurs have joined the race to sign the 32-year-old and appear to be in pole position after having an offer accepted.
Llorente has yet to play this season due to a broken arm caused by a cycling accident this summer.
The forward scored 15 goals last season including in his last three matches of the campaign for the Swans.
Should Llorente move to Tottenham it would potentially open the door for striker Vincent Janssen to leave on loan.
