Chinese Super League side Hebei Fortune have denied claims they offered Arsenal's Alexis Sanchez £400,000 per week to join the club.

Sanchez has this week been linked with a switch to the Chinese side, though The Sun claims that the forward snubbed the offer.

This is not the first time the Chilean has been linked to the CSL, with his future at Arsenal unclear as his current contract continues to run down.

However, Hebei have dismissed the recent reports, insisting no offer has been made for Sanchez.

A senior club official told Southern Metropolis Daily: "We have never made a bid or any offer for Sanchez. The Sun's story is fake news."

Sanchez continues to be linked with a move to Manchester City, though, with Pep Guardiola expected to launch another move for the player next summer after failing to sign him in the last transfer window.
