Jurgen Klopp has deployed his full range of attacking firepower at the Emirates, starting Mohamed Salah, Roberto Firmino, Sadio Mane and Philippe Coutinho in what could be a crucial showdown in the race for the top four.

Simon Mignolet has been given the goalkeeping gloves while Andrew Robertson retains his place at left-back in what is an attacking lineup.

Arsene Wenger has kept faith with Jack Wilshere, who played a full 90 minutes in both of Arsenal's previous games, and handed the 20-year-old full-back Ainsley Maitland-Niles a show of faith with a starting berth.

Both Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez start in what is also an attacking setup, alongside Alex Iwobi and behind Alexandre Lacazette. Danny Welbeck and Theo Walcott will begin the Friday evening match on the bench.

Arsenal: Cech, Bellerin, Koscielny, Monreal, Maitland-Niles, Xhaka, Wilshere, Iwobi, Ozil, Alexis, Lacazette. Subs: Ospina, Mustafi, Kolasinac, Coquelin, Elneny, Walcott, Welbeck.

Liverpool: Mignolet, Gomez, Klavan, Lovren, Robertson, Henderson, Can, Coutinho, Mane, Salah, Firmino. Subs: Karius, Alexander-Arnold, Lallana, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Wijnaldum, Milner, Solanke.
