On-loan Chelsea defender Kurt Zouma enjoying life with Stoke
Kurt Zouma is delighted with the start he has made to his loan spell with Stoke.
The 22-year-old French centre-back joined the Potters over the summer on a season-long loan from Chelsea.
Since then he has played the full duration of the Staffordshire outfit's opening two Premier League games of the season - a 1-0 loss at Everton followed by last weekend's 1-0 home win over Arsenal.
He also started Wednesday's Carabao Cup clash with Rochdale, which ended in a 4-0 victory.
And Zouma told Premier League Productions: "I'm very happy - after all, it (Happy) is my middle name.
"I came here to play and I'm delighted I'm doing that and started well individually.
"It's very good for me, so I will continue to work very hard and give my best for the team."
Zouma also says "very happy" is a feeling that applies to the entire Stoke camp ahead of Sunday's away league clash with in-form West Brom, who have won each of their three games in all competitions so far this term.
"As a group, we are all very happy and feeling confident especially after the Arsenal result last weekend," Zouma said.
"It's been a good week, but we're not over-confident because we know (Sunday) is going to be a tough game, West Brom are a strong side so we will have to be at our best if we are to win the game.
"They've had a bright start, are in front of their home fans and are also dangerous at set-pieces so we need to be careful of that.
"But as I say, we've had a good week and have players capable of causing them problems, so we will go there in good spirits and do our best to achieve all three points."
