'It's completely nonsense information' - Jose Mourinho gives his reaction to the latest Paul Pogba rumours

Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has rejected reports that his midfielder Paul Pogba will be out of action for the rest of 2017 with the hamstring injury he sustained in last Tuesday’s Champions League win over FC Basel.
Pogba limped out of action mid-way through the first half of the game at Old Trafford, with Mourinho confirming his £89m midfielder would miss ‘the next few games’ with the problem.
That was followed by a reports in the Sunday newspapers claiming Pogba’s injury was much worse than first feared, with the Frenchman set to be on the sidelines for 12 weeks and may not play again this year.
Mourinho was quick to dismiss that theory following his side’s 4-0 win against Everton on Sunday, as he confirmed a return date for Pogba has yet to be set.
“I don't know if it is 12 weeks or 12 days, honestly, so any comment, any rumour is totally wrong, because we do not know if it is 12 weeks or 12 days,” the United boss said.
The player was diagnosed initially after the match because of the conditions of the muscle and the bleeding, the decision was one more week to wait and to see really clearly in the scans the dimension of the injury.
“Nobody in the club spoke about 12 days or 12 weeks. Not at all. It's a muscular injury in the hamstring, but we have a normal procedure and wait a few more days, so it's completely nonsense information.”
Pogba will be keen to get back to full fitness ahead of a crucial run of games for United, with next month’s game against Liverpool at Anfield an obvious date for him to target for a return.
