West Ham have made an offer for Sunderland midfielder Didier Ndong, according to reports from France.
Embed from Getty ImagesMohamed Bouhafsi from RMC Sport claims that the Hammers are one of two clubs seriously interesting in signing the 23-year-old Gabon international, who arrived at the Stadium of Light from L'Orient last summer in a £13million switch.
And whilst Ligue 1 side Lyon are also interested in taking Ndong back to France, the source claims that West Ham are in pole position having already made an opening offfer for the Black Cat's number 17.

Although the Hammers are said to have made an opening offer Ndong it is almost certainly the case that he is considered as a back up option should the club's plans to sign Portuguese international William Carvalho fall through.
