JACK Cork has hailed organisation, hard work and aggression as the secrets to Burnley's revival on the road so far this season.

Having taken until the end of April to land a first away win last season the Clarets have been invincible away from Turf Moor this term.

They have followed a stunning win at champions Chelsea on the opening day of the season with valiant draws at Tottenham and Liverpool.

The challenge gets no easier away from home for Sean Dyche's side, who travel to last season's seventh placed side Everton on Sunday and then face a daunting trip to Manchester City after that.

But Cork has been delighted with Burnley's start on the road and he is hopeful of adding to that points tally at Goodison Park this weekend.

Asked what had been the key to the Clarets' record away from home this season, the midfielder said: “Great organisation, hard work, being aggressive in formation to limit teams to half chances outside boxes.

"We have done that well and hopefully we can get a result there on Sunday.”

While Burnley's goal was under pressure against Tottenham and Liverpool they did restrict those sides to half chances, and they will look repeat the trick on Merseyside as they face an Everton side who have had an indifferent start to the season.

"We’ve done well against three big teams away so far and got something from each game," Cork said. "We will go there full of confidence, hoping to get a result away from home."
