BURNLEY Under-23s return to Professional Development League action today as they welcome Huddersfield Town to Turf Moor (2pm).

Michael Duff's side thrashed Colchester United 4-0 in the Premier League Cup on Thursday, now they face the Terries in their first match of the season at Turf Moor looking to move off the bottom of the table.

The Clarets are bottom on eight points, but are only behind today's visitors on goal difference, and Duff is hoping his side can repeat Thursday's display.

"When you’re playing for Burnley it’s nice to play at the ground," he said. "Hopefully in a couple of years it will be full when they’re playing, but it’s a different experience and different surroundings.

"If they can do what they did on Thursday we’ll be quite happy."
