Shocking footage has been posted online appearing to show Arsenal and Man City supporters brawling outside Wembley Stadium.

Tempers flared after the Gunners’ dramatic extra time win in the FA Cup semi-final on Sunday afternoon.

Video taken at 5.45pm showed an angry stand-off between rival fans after the full-time whistle blew.

Men appear to square up to another, including a heavy-set man in a floppy red and white hat.

An older fan steps in, seemingly in a bid to defuse the situation.

However, his efforts are in vain as volleys of punches are thrown as chaotic scenes briefly break out.

One young supporter, who seems not to be involved in the violence, appears to be punched around five times in the face.

A woman watching the violence from the stadium can be heard saying: “Oh no, there’s kids down there, there’s kid down there.”

“No, not the young boy,” she cries.

“Leave it out, no he’s only a kid.”

“Why would you punch a kid like that?” she asks.

Others fans then step in as shocked families remonstrate with the attackers. The crowds then make their way off as normal.

The shameful footage was slammed on social media. One Arsenal fan wrote: “Some people really let themselves down.

“That age and still cannot act a decent human.”

Earlier this month, Arsenal fans were filmed fighting each other during the Premier League clash against City at the Emirates.

Arsene Wenger said of the incident: "I think what is important in football is what happens inside the pitch and inside the stadium.”
