Harry Redknapp has revealed that Arsenal youngster Cohen Bramall could make his Birmingham debut against Premier League side Bournemouth in the Carabao Cup on Tuesday.

The 21-year-old, who moved to St. Andrew’s on loan alongside fellow Gunner Carl Jenkinson on Monday morning, has received high praise from his new manager.

The former Tottenham boss said of the full-back: “He’s lightning quick, he’s got fantastic pace and a great left foot. All the reports from Arsenal have been excellent.

"Carl [Jenkinson] won’t be involved tomorrow but Cohen [Bramall] will be involved for sure. I’m not sure whether he’ll play but he’ll be involved."

Bramall, who is yet to experience first team football in his career, made nine appearances for the Arsenal U23s last season. He scored once and picked up three assists, and has one assist from his only appearance this term.

Jenkinson, on the other hand, has 90 Premier League appearances under his belt but would have struggled for game time at the Emirates, with Hector Bellerin and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain already vying for the right wing-back slot.
