Arsenal vs Manchester United team news: Huge boost for Gunners as striker Alexandre Lacazette starts

Alexandre Lacazette has made a surprise recovery from a groin injury to lead the Arsenal line against Manchester United at the Emirates this evening.

The French striker was “certainly” ruled out by Arsene Wenger after being substituted at half-time in Wednesday’s 5-0 win over Huddersfield, however has proven his fitness in time to start alongside Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez.

Manchester United have also been handed an injury boost of their own with Nemanja Matic having shaken off a groin injury in time to start alongside Paul Pogba in Jose Mourinho’s midfield.

Both sides will line up in a 3-4-3, with United fielding Anthony Martial and Jesse Lingard off Romelu Lukaku.

Arsenal starting XI: Cech, Koscielny, Mustafi, Monreal, Bellerin, Ramsey, Xhaka, Kolasinac, Ozil, Sanchez, Lacazette.

Manchester United starting XI: De Gea, Lindelof, Smalling, Rojo, Valencia, Pogba, Matic, Young, Lingard, Martial, Lukaku.
