Chelsea manager Antonio Conte has been handed a double boost with the news that Pedro and David Luiz will be available for selection over the next week.

Pedro suffered an ankle injury against Arsenal on Sunday, which forced the attacking midfielder to be substituted at half-time.

It was feared he faced some time on the sidelines, but Conte said: "Pedro is fit for the game against Stoke on Saturday.

"Now it is very important to prepare. It is a very important game for us. This season Stoke have won at home against Arsenal and drawn against Manchester United. We must be ready."

Luiz suffered a fractured wrist in the game against Arsenal but carried on playing before being sent off.

The defender has had a splint fitted to his left hand but Conte says Luiz will be able to face Atletico.

Luiz’s three-game suspension does not apply to European games.
