The Premier League returns after the international break with a selection of appetite-whetting fixtures.

The weekend starts with Manchester City hosting Liverpool in the traditional early kick-off before Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham are all in action at 3pm.

Manchester United travel to Stoke City to round off Saturday before Burnley host Crystal Palace and Swansea City visit Newcastle United on Sunday.

Arsene Wenger and Mauricio Pochettino held their pre-match press conferences on Thursday, with a host of other managers due in front of the media today.

Plus, the transfer window may be closed but there's still transfer news - Vincent Janssen to join Fenerbahce on loan - and rumours aplenty.

KOEMAN: SPURS AN EXAMPLE TO FOLLOW

More from Everton now as Ronald Koeman has been bigging up Saturday's opponents.

"In my opinion they are one of the strongest teams in the Premier League," he said. "Maybe they haven't had the start they expected but they are a really strong side and I like how they play football.

"It is an example of how we need to make the next step as Everton. What they did is hard work, the development of young players and a really good manager.

"On one side we have made steps but on the other side still not. We need time if you bring in so many young and new players in."
