Willian admits Chelsea must beat West Ham on Saturday if the Blues stand any chance of catching up with Premier League leaders Manchester City.

Pep Guardiola’s side sit 11 points above reigning champions Chelsea in the Premier League standings after dropping just two points this season and winning their last 13 top-flight games in a row.

Chelsea – who are unbeaten in their last seven Premier League matches - can cut the gap to City to eight points if they beat David Moyes' West Ham side at the London Stadium in the Saturday lunchtime kick-off, with Pep Guardiola's side then taking on rivals Manchester United at Old Trafford on Sunday afternoon.

And Willian is targeting nothing but all three points against the Hammers to keep Chelsea's hopes of defending their Premier League crown alive.

"We have to win," the Brazilian said. "We are playing away.

"Of course, it's going to be a difficult game. But I think we can get the three points."
