Chelsea star Eden Hazard has hailed teammate Thibaut Courtois as one of the world’s best goalkeepers.

The Belgian international, asked to name his perfect five-a-side team from world football plumped for his friend and compatriot in between the sticks.

“I will need a goalkeeper, I will say [Thibaut] Courtois,” Hazard told Sport Bible.

“He is my friend and I think he is one of the best in the world now.”

Having time and again been linked with a move to Real Madrid, the 26-year-old’s first pick for his side is one which could cause alarm among Chelsea fans.

When initially asked to name his team, without hesitation, Hazard said: “First [Zinedine] Zidane for sure.”

The forward, who is set to return to the Blues first team action after injury over the coming weeks, was also asked to name the best teammate he’d ever had.

“With Chelsea we’ve had some legends,” he said.

“Like [Didier] Drogba, [Frank] Lampard and [John] Terry, I would say Drogba.

“When he is talking everyone is like this,” he said mimicking players listening intently, “so he’s special.”
