West Ham take on Liverpool this evening looking for their win in four Premier League matches, but Joe Hart carries a worrying record…

The Hammers goalkeeper has conceded 29 goals against the Reds, more goals than against any other side in the Premier League.

Hart, who is currently on loan from Manchester City, has conceded 19 goals in West Ham’s opening ten Premier League matches, and to make matters worse, the Hammers face something of a defensive injury crisis ahead of the tonight’s match.

James Collins and Jose Fonte will all miss the match through injury, as will Sam Byram, while Pablo Zabaleta is suspended for the match.

Betting odds

Fancy going against the record books? Betfair have priced West Ham at 6/1 to keep a clean sheet against Liverpool tonight, while Jurgen Klopp's side are priced at 8/15 to score two or more goals.

But if you think the Hammers can come from behind to win, your odds are 19/1.

What the manager says...

Writing in his Evening Standard column this week, manager Slaven Bilic admitted that he understands why his position at the club is under scrutiny.

“The inevitable criticism followed and my position was again in the spotlight,” said Bilic. “I understand the way it works these days and I admit we are not in a great position. I also understand that, should things go against us when we play Liverpool, there will be more of the same.

“All that is out of my control, though, and has not affected the way we have prepared for this big match. We have collected a few injuries this week but let’s keep things in perspective. We have just beaten Spurs and earned a point against Palace, both away from home. Some people would have taken that after our defeat by Brighton.

“I have heard some of the criticism which has come our way since last weekend, especially that we are bottom of the table in both distances covered and sprints this season.”
