Vincent Janssen will be allowed to leave Tottenham in this transfer window.

Along with Harry Kane, the Dutchman is one of only two specialist forwards at the club but if an appropriate deal can be struck, Janssen can go - barely a year after he joined for £17million.

West Brom are thought to be a possible destination for the 23-year-old, who has been proposed to a number of clubs at home and abroad.

The Baggies have also been following Spurs defender Kevin Wimmer, although any deal may rest on the outcome of Jonny Evans’ anticipated move from West Brom to Manchester City.

If Janssen departs, it is possible Tottenham would try to sign another forward, although Standard Sport understands Lazio’s Keita Balde is not a primary target at this stage.

It is likely to be a busy conclusion to the window for Tottenham. They are expected to bid for Everton’s Ross Barkley, even though he is injured.

Manchester City youngster Jadon Sancho is also on the radar along with Serge Aurier, the Paris Saintt-Germain right-back.

Tottenham have insisted they have had no direct contact with Fulham for Ryan Sessegnon, the left-back, yet they have a clear interest in the player.

And despite the arrival of Davinson Sanchez yesterday for a £42m club record deal, Spurs still retain an interest in 19-year-old Estudiantes centre-half Juan Foyth.
