David Moyes has dropped captain Mark Noble for his first home game in charge, after criticising players with ‘big reputations’ after their defeat at Watford.

Following the 2-0 loss at Vicarage Road, Moyes said he felt let down with the performances from those with the biggest reputations in the West Ham dressing room, and called on them to prove to him why they should play for the Hammers.

While the whole West Ham side underperformed during Moyes’ first game, captain Noble stood out after a particularly poor showing.

Noble, though, is the only change from Sunday, as Marko Arnautovic recovers from a hand problem which forced him off. Arthur Masuaku earns a rare start in place of Noble.

While Moyes takes on his first home game, new Leicester manager Claude Puel has happy memories of London Stadium, with his Southampton team coming away 3-0 winners in the early stages of last season.

West Ham XI: Hart, Zabaleta, Ogbonna, Reid, Creswell, Kouyate, Obiang, Arnautovic, Lanzini, Masuaku, Carroll.

West Ham substitutes: Adrian, Rice, Noble, Quina, Fernandes, Ayew, Sakho.

Leicester XI: Schmeichel, Simpson, Morgan, Maguire, Fuchs, Mahrez, Ndidi, Albrighton, Iborra, Gray, Vardy.

Leicester substitutes: Hamer, Chilwell, Dragovic, King, Okazaki, Slimani, Iheanacho.
