The Third Round of the League Cup kicked off on Tuesday night as West Ham, Tottenham and Crystal Palace put their names in the hat for the next round.

Roy Hodgson won his first game as Palace boss as the Eagles beat Huddersfield to avenge their comprehensive defeat to the same opponents on the opening day of the Premier League season.

Meanwhile, Spurs edged past Championship Barnsley and West Ham cruised past Bolton at the London Stadium. Arsenal and Chelsea will be in action on Wednesday evening, with Doncaster visiting Emirates Stadium and Nottingham Forest travelling to Stamford Bridge.

Jose Mourinho’s United, the holders having beaten Southampton in last season’s final, have a home tie against Burton Albion while Manchester City are away at West Brom in Wednesday's only all-Premier League tie.

This season’s competition, under the new sponsorship of Thai energy drink Carabao, has been tainted by controversy with the First and Third Round draws having been held in Asia, the latter having been scheduled for 4.15am BST, and all three draws so far having had a problem of sorts.

With that in mind, what are the EFL’s plans for the Fourth Round draw? Standard Sport takes you through all you need to know…

The EFL have confirmed that The Fourth Round draw has been brought back to English soil and will be held live at the Sky Sports studios in west London after the conclusion of the televised Manchester United v Burton Albion game on Wednesday night.

How can I follow it?

Unlike the Third Round draw, which fans were only able to follow via the competition’s Twitter account, Wednesday’s draw will be broadcast live on Sky Sports Football and Sky Sports Main Event, the same channels showing the game at Old Trafford.
