Arsenal are pushing to sign exciting Anderlecht goalkeeper Mile Svilar – who has been dubbed ‘the new Thibaut Courtois’.
The 15-year-old shot-stopper is a rising star in Belgium, with many youth coaches saying they’ve not seen a player as talented at that age between the sticks since Courtois.
Chelsea have already offered him a trial, while Manchester United are also keen, but Arsenal are pushing for a deal, with Nieuwsblad newspaper confirming he’s a top target for the Gunners.
It’s thought that Arsenal are planning to invite Svilar for a look around their training complex ahead of a move, with a view to him joining their Under-18 team in the new year.
