Mathieu Flamini, Petr Cech and Aaron Ramsey are set to return to Arsenal’s first team after the Premier League clash against Everton.

Arsene Wenger confirmed that the trio will be back in contention after the international break.

Flamini was ruled out of the Everton match after limping off against Barcelona, while Ramsey and Cech are longer-term casualties.

Wenger also commented on the fitness of Jack Wilshere and Santi Cazorla.

‘Well, the other night we lost Mathieu Flamini with a hamstring injury, so he will be out,’ Wenger said.

‘He will be replaced by [Calum] Chambers. Everybody else should be available. We have a check-up this morning, but all the other signs look quite positive.

‘Wilshere is showing good signs now of recovery, Santi is a bit slower.

‘The players who will definitely be back from injury [after the international break] will be Ramsey, Cech and maybe Flamini.

‘But I don’t think Cazorla or Wilshere will be straight after the international break.’
