Arsenal goalkeeper David Ospina wants showdown talks with Arsene Wenger to discuss his future at the Emirates.

The 28-year-old is second choice behind Petr Cech in north London and has made just five appearances for the Gunners this term.

The Colombian’s an able deputy for the former Chelsea star but the former Nice ‘keeper is understandably worried about his place in the national side given his lack of playing time.

Ospina will start in Arsenal’s final Champions League group game against Basel this week but it’s unclear whether he will retain his place going into the knockout stages.

Wenger agreed with the Colombian that he would play in the Champions League and in the cup competitions but, according to the Mirror, Ospina’s questioning his future and wants talks with the Frenchman about his future at the club.
