Jeremie Boga is loving life under Antonio Conte during Chelsea’s pre-season and believes he is already learning a lot under the Italian boss.

The Ivorian spent last season out on loan in La Liga – making 27 appearances – and he seriously impressed during the Blues’ 3-0 win over Arsenal.

His fast feet and silky dribbling skills have seen plenty of fans get excited about what he can offer the first team squad and with Eden Hazard out of the side for the start of the season, he may get an opportunity to shine on the Premier League stage.

Despite his relegation from La Liga with Granada, he feels he learnt a lot from his experience abroad.

And he is now enjoying Conte’s guidance tactically while training with the first team.

‘Even though last year was a difficult year for the team, I think I have learned a lot, especially because we had to defend and also technically I got better.

‘Now in just the few weeks I have been on pre-season with Antonio Conte, I have been learning a lot tactically and he is good for me.

‘He gives instructions for the strikers, for the way we play and the way we defend also.

‘It is very tactical and I think it is what I am missing in my game. I am really focused because I need to learn more tactically.’

On what he improved during his loan spell last season, he added: ‘I feel more mature in my game and I am better within the team.

‘I am more strong physically and I am better tactically as well, so I think I have grown a lot and I am very happy to be on pre-season with Chelsea.’
