Eden Hazard looks set to stay at Chelsea (Picture: Getty)

Chelsea boss Antonio Conte insists Eden Hazard will remain at the club this summer and will not be sold.

The Belgian is currently sidelined with an ankle injury but that hasn’t stopped speculation linking him with La Liga giants Barcelona and Real Madrid.

Barcelona superstar Neymar is believed to be closing in on a move to Paris Saint-Germain and reports in Spain have suggested Hazard is being targeted as a replacement.

Real Madrid have held a long-standing interest in the winger but Conte insists he’s going nowhere and will be at Stamford Bridge next season.

‘I don’t know anything about this situation. In the past I read a lot of stories about (Hazard going to) Real Madrid and now there is Barcelona,’ said Conte.

‘This is the transfer market and we must understand this.

‘Will Hazard stay with us? Yes. He is very happy to stay with us and to play for Chelsea.’

Conte still wants to add to his squad this summer and the Italian has enquired about the availability of Bayern Munich midfielder Renato Sanches.

The Italian’s side lost 3-2 to the Bundesliga giants in Singapore on Wednesday and Conte spoke to former Blues boss Carlo Ancelotti about Sanches afterwards.

A host of sides – including Manchester United and AC Milan – are interested in Sanches.
