Ousmane Dembele insists he is happy to stay at Borussia Dortmund after being linked with Manchester United and Barcelona.

The 20-year-old is one of the standout young players in Europe and made an immediate impact in his first year at Dortmund with 11 goals and 18 assists last season.

The France international has attracted strong interest from Barcelona this summer, while the midfielder is also on Jose Mourinho’s radar at United.

‘Quite honestly, the speculation doesn’t interest me,’ Dembele told Bild.

‘There was speculation during the entire summer break.

‘I like to be in Dortmund and I have consciously chosen this club after my time at Rennes.’

When asked about his career aims, Dembele replied: ‘I would like to win the Champions League.

‘I would like to become a world champion with France and also win more titles with Dortmund.

‘I am absolutely aware that each one of these goals is difficult to achieve.’
