Alexis Sanchez has returned to Arsenal training for the first time this summer amid widespread speculation that the forward may have played his last game for the club.
Paris Saint-Germain, Bayern Munich, Chelsea and Manchester City have all been linked with Sanchez in recent months but the 28-year-old finally returned to London from Chile this week.
The attacker is yet to agree to a new deal at the Emirates and is understood to be demanding £400,000-a-week to remain in London ahead of the 2017/18 campaign.
However, Gooners breathed a collective sigh of relief on Tuesday afternoon as Sanchez was seen working on his fitness back at the club’s London Colney training ground.
He appeared in good spirits, despite training alone, just days after claiming he had picked up an illness.
