Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil have been left out of Arsenal’s squad to face Chelsea in the Community Shield at Wembley.

The two sides meet for the first time since the Gunners won a record-breaking 13th FA Cup after their 2-1 win against the Blues in May.

Chelsea are starting with new signing Alvaro Morata on the bench with Michy Batshuayi being favoured in attack. Fellow new signing Antonio Rudiger has also had to settle for a place on the bench.

Arsene Wenger looks to be sticking to a back three and has handed Alexandre Lacazette his full debut after his £52million move from Lyon and he will be supported by Alex Iwobi and Danny Welbeck.

The London rivals met three times last season, culminating with Arsenal’s win at Wembley in May. The Gunners ran out 3-0 winners at the Emirates in September and the result forced Conte into a re-think over his side’s set-up.

Chelsea moved to a back three and embarked upon a long unbeaten run on their way to the title.  The Blues welcomed Arsenal to Stamford Bridge in February and ran out 3-1 winners.
