Monaco superstar Kylian Mbappe has decided he wants to join rival French side Paris Saint-Germain, according to reports in France.

The 18-year-old goalscorer has been chased by almost every top club in Europe with Arsenal, Liverpool, Manchester City and Real Madrid all linked with a transfer.

Mbappe has risen to the top of the striker pile in Europe after a remarkable season at Monaco.

The striker fired Monaco to a Ligue 1 title, at the expense of PSG, and was superb during their Champions League run to the quarter-finals.

French publication Telefoot claim that after much deliberation, Mbappe has chosen PSG as his next club.

Mbappe will snub serious interest from City and Real to sign for PSG and make sure he plays regularly ahead of the World Cup next summer.

PSG has not abandoned the pursuit of Mbappe despite shelling out a world-record fee to snare Neymar from Barcelona.

The French giants paid £198million for the Brazilian attacker and is prepared to fork out another huge figure on Mbappe.

Midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko left for Chelsea, while Bernardo Silva and Benjamin Mendy are both now City players.

Monaco are refusing to entertain Mbappe’s exit, but there is hope from the player he will be allowed leave in the coming weeks.

A bid from PSG could be submitted in the coming week with the Parisians considering an opening offer of £140m (€155m).
