Tottenham star Danny Rose is willing to push through a move to Chelsea if the Blues make a concrete offer this summer.

The left-back hit the headlines on Thursday when he gave an explosive interview attacking Tottenham, their low wage bill and the club’s lack of signings this summer.

The 27-year-old said he would ‘get what he is worth’ and says he would like to play up north again having left Leeds for London in 2007.

Chelsea boss Antonio Conte has idenfitied Rose as his first choice left wing-back this summer after missing out on Juventus’ Alex Sandro.

The Blues are currently mulling over an offer for the England international and the Times say Rose will help push through a move if Chelsea solidify their interest.

Mauricio Pochettino is furious with Rose and the club will fine him two weeks’ wages for his decision to air his complaints in an interview.

However, Rose remains undeterred and would rather move to Chelsea over Manchester United if both clubs meet Spurs’ £50m valuation of the defender.

Rose earns around £65,000-a-week in north London but stands to at least double that by moving to one of Chelsea or Manchester United.

‘I am reaching my peak and probably only have one more big contract left in me,’ said Rose.

‘Time is running out and I do want to win trophies. I don’t want to play football for 15 years and not have one trophy or one medal.

‘That’s not what I’m about. I’m not saying I want out but if something came to me that was concrete, I’d have no qualms about voicing my opinions to anyone at the football club.’
