Manchester United are set to complete their next summer transfer as Oliveirense communications director Antonio Jose Leite confirms an imminent deal for Bruno Amorim.

The 19-year-old looks a bright prospect in Portuguese football, with United moving quick to snap him up after he only recently promoted to the club’s senior squad.

The Red Devils have done well to poach top talent from Portugal in the past, and have used their connections once again as they look like bringing in a potentially exciting talent for the future.

Leite admitted the deal for Amorim to join United was 90% done, as he opened up about negotiations and how much his club stand to receive for the player.

‘He (Amorim) had been promoted to the main squad but the scouting was already alert and decided to take him there,’ he told Agencia Lusa.

‘At this time the business is 90% done and he may have an excellent contract ahead. The contract will shortly be announced, but he is a future bet at United.

‘We’ll receive training rights, because he’s always been trained here, although in monetary terms it may not be more than that because there may be other exchanges. These details are not yet defined. But the training rights and future sales of the player are guaranteed gains.’

Jose Mourinho has had another big-spending summer at United by bringing in Romelu Lukaku, Nemanja Matic and Victor Lindelof, but he’s focusing on a player to add to the ranks of United’s youth teams for the time being.

Links remain with more senior signings such as Serge Aurier, Danny Rose, Gareth Bale and Ivan Perisic, with Mourinho admitting he’d like one more addition to his first-team before the end of the transfer window.
