Liverpool and Leicester City turn their attentions to the Carabao Cup on Tuesday night as they go head-to-head for a place in the fourth round.

Both sides were held to 1-1 draws in the Premier League on Saturday and will be hoping for a more positive result in the League Cup.

The two sides have just three wins between them this season so will be looking to the EFL Cup as a way of building momentum for their league campaigns.

Leicester team news

Jamie Vardy is likely to miss the game after suffering a groin injury at the weekend.

Christian Fuchs and Matty James are also going to be rested, although should return for the next Premier League outing.

Liverpool team news

Danny Ings could make his long-awaited return from injury in this match, but almost certainly not in the starting line-up.

Adam Lallana, Nathaniel Clyne and Adam Bogdan all remain sidelined with long-term fitness problems.
