Eden Hazard has lifted the lid on attacking advice given to him by Arsenal legend Thierry Henry ahead of Chelsea’s clash with Atletico Madrid.

Henry, widely regarded to be Arsenal’s greatest player of all-time, took over as Belgium’s assistant manager in August 2016, working alongside former Everton boss Roberto Martinez.

Hazard, who was injured while on international duty with Belgium back in June, has only made one start for Chelsea this term but is set to be unleashed in the Champions League on Wednesday night.

Ahead of the mouthwatering encounter with Atleti, Hazard told France Football: ‘In Lille, I always wanted the ball at my feet. Always, always, always.

‘But even if you do not have the ball, you create something, you make a call, you create a space.

‘It’s something I’ve improved on, but I can still do more.

‘In the national team, Titi [Thierry Henry] gives me tips of attacking movements, the ball calls. He also told me not to always ask for the ball to feet.’
