Roma midfielder Lorenzo Pellegrini is being closely watched by Premier League title rivals Manchester United and Manchester City.

The 21-year-old returned to Roma this summer after the Serie A giants activated a buy-back clause in the midfielder’s contract that meant they could purchase him for just under £9million.

The midfielder made 35 apperances for Sassuolo last season and scored eight goals. His performances earned him a move back to Roma but he could Sky Sports claim he could be on the move again.

United and City are said to have scouted the midfielder during Roma’s recent win against Verona in September.
