Toby Alderweireld has revealed that he has not received a new contract offer from Tottenham but insists he is still happy to stay with the club.

The Belgium international has been linked with moves to Chelsea, Manchester United and City.

Alderweireld’s current contract, which is reportedly worth around £50,000-a-week, expires in 2019 but Spurs have the option to extend that for another season.

When asked if he had been offered a new deal by Spurs, Alderweireld told Sky Sports News: ‘No, like I said, I am focused on football.

‘The rest, I don’t know, we will see about that.

‘I had a good conversation with the manager [Mauricio Pochettino].

‘I told him I’m focused on football, to keep my game up and help the team.

‘That’s all I can do. You can see I’m happy there, and I try to help the team, and that’s the way I always play football.’
