Sead Kolasinac insists the transfer rumours surrounding Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez are not causing a problem in Arsenal’s dressing room.

Both Ozil and Sanchez will see their contracts expire at the end of the season and have been linked with moves away from Arsene Wenger’s side.

Manchester City are expected to submit a new offer for Sanchez after failing to sign the Chilean on deadline day, while Ozil has been linked with a switch to Manchester United.

Wenger has admitted that both Sanchez and Ozil could be sold in the January transfer window, which could disrupt the second half of Arsenal’s campaign if the club fail to sign replacements.

But Kolasinac is adamant that the prospect of Sanchez and Ozil leaving is not causing an issue in the squad.

‘Of course, we would be happy to keep them, but I think it is important not to talk about the contracts,’ Kolasinac told the Evening Standard.

‘Mesut and Alexis are two players who always give their all and it is not an issue.

‘It is not a problem around the team.

‘It gives the team security knowing we have players like them, knowing they can make the difference.’
