Chelsea fans had Michy Batshuayi to thank after the Belgian scored twice as a substitute to give his side a much-needed 4-2 win against Watford.

Abdoulaye Doucoure and Roberto Pereyra cancelled out Pedro’s opener to give Watford a 2-1 lead going into the final 20 minutes at Stamford Bridge.

Batshuayi replaced the ineffective Alvaro Morata with less than half an hour remaining and got his side back on level terms with a powerful header in the 72nd minute.

Cesar Azpilicueta put Chelsea ahead before Batshuayi sealed the victory in injury time.

A failure to win would have seen Chelsea drop further behind in the title race and supporters were thanking Batshuayi for ‘saving’ Conte from the sack.
