Antonio Conte claims Chelsea remain ‘satisfied’ with his work at the club amid speculation he could be set to move on from Stamford Bridge.

The Blues have had a disappointing start to the 2017/18 campaign, as they attempt to defend their Premier League title, and sit fourth in the table, nine points adrift of leaders Manchester City.

It’s been claimed that Conte is under increasing pressure at the club but the Italian manager insisted his position is not under threat in the lead-up to his side’s clash with Manchester United.

Asked about the recent rumours, Conte told Sky Sports: ‘I think that it is normal.

‘In the past it’s been the same with other managers and this is the history. I’m not worried about this situation.

‘I continue to do my job and work. I think my club is satisfied with my work.

‘I’m doing a really fantastic job. But football is strange.’
