Ex-Chelsea midfielder Ramires has confirmed he’s training with his former club at their Surrey training complex.

The Brazilian spent six years at Stamford Bridge before joining Chinese Super League side Jiangsu Suning in 2016.

Ramires won the Premier League with Chelsea in 2015 but he is most fondly remembered for his exquisite lob against Barcelona in the semi-finals of the Champions League in 2012 – which the Blues would go on to win.

And Ramires confirmed he was back at the club’s training ground this week by uploading a photo onto his Instagram story from the club’s dressing room.

The midfielder is currently recovering from injury and the club have allowed him to complete part of his rehabilitation at their Cobham training base.

Ramires accompanied the photo with a caption reading ‘Falta pouco’ – which is Portuguese for ‘it’s nearly time’.

Chelsea enter the international break on the back of a morale-boosting 1-0 win against Manchester United.

Alvaro Morata’s second half header gave the Blues a crucial three points to keep pace with high-flying Manchester City.
