Jose Mourinho was a relieved man as Jesse Lingard put Manchester United out of sight with the side’s final goal in a dramatic 4-2 victory over Watford.

The Red Devils flew out of the blocks at Vicarage Road, with two outstanding goals from Ashley Young and Anthony Martial’s third putting the visitors 3-0 in front before the break.

Watford made it a nervy finish for the Red Devils at the death after second-half goals from Troy Deeney and Abdoulaye Doucoure.

However, Lingard, who started the Premier League clash, ensured United took three points back to Manchester with a composed finish in the 86th minute.

The forward’s goal, his first in the English top flight this term, sent United’s away support into a frenzy at Vicarage Road – and Mourinho was also delighted.

Mourinho’s reaction to Young’s incredible free-kick in the first-half also went down well among United supporters across social media.

The Special One could not believe his eyes as wing-back Young found his first Premier League goals since a defeat of Bournemouth back in May 2016.
