A number of West Brom fans were adamant that Manchester United star Marcus Rashford had dived in the second-half of the Red Devils’ 2-1 win at the Hawthorns.

Rashford provided the assist for Romelu Lukaku’s opener against his former club, but the Englishman was anonymous after the break versus Alan Pardew’s men.

The forward was accused of going to ground too easily in the 53rd minute of the Premier League clash following a battle with Ahmed Hegazi for the ball.

Baggies defender Hegazi barely touched Rashford on the face, but the United man went to ground like he had been shot.

Everton striker Oumar Niasse was handed a two-match suspension at the end of last month after dive against Crystal Palace, with the FA determined to stamp down on play-acting in the English top flight.

There was some bad news for Jose Mourinho in the second-half at West Brom as Antonio Valencia was forced off with an injury.

Valencia was seen holding his hamstring and looks set to miss the Red Devils clash with Bristol City in midweek.
