Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has sent a warning to former side Arsenal ahead of Liverpool’s trip to the Emirates.

The 24-year-old winger completed a £35million transfer move to Merseyside in the summer, after seven frustrating seasons in north London, and is beginning to adjust to life at his new club.

Following Liverpool’s 4-0 thumping of Bournemouth at the weekend, Oxlade-Chamberlain was named man of the match and the England man is oozing confidence in the lead-up to Friday’s showdown.

‘It will be a special occasion for me, full of emotion I’m sure,’ Oxlade-Chamberlian said.

‘We’re in good form and we’ll be going there full of confidence and looking for three points.’

The England international feels he’s ‘settled’ on Merseyside following a difficult first few games under Jurgen Klopp.

He added: ‘I feel like I’m settled in now and I’m learning the ropes and my roles and responsibilities.

‘That’s always the thing that’s hard to adapt to. Once you get comfortable with that, you can start to relax more.

‘I’ve been doing better and it has been coming, but there’s definitely more to come from me.

‘And I’ll be doing everything I can to bring that out.’
