Never change, Rio… (Picture: BT Sport)

Rio Ferdinand was surely the loudest fan inside the Emirates as Manchester United stormed to a 3-1 victory over Arsenal.

The Red Devils ruthlessly punished two fatal errors from Arsenal inside the opening 11 minutes in a breathless Premier League clash and Arsene Wenger’s side were unable to recover despite a spirited second-half display.

David De Gea gave one of the goalkeeping performances of the season in north London and Jesse Lingard proved himself to be one of Jose Mourinho’s most underrated players with goals either side of the break.

Ferdinand had countless battles with the Gunners down the years and the United legend clearly loves a win over Wenger’s men almost as much as he did as a player.

The ex-England defender, who played his last United match back in 2014, was seen living and breathing every second of action from the BT Sport studio alongside a despondent Martin Keown.

‘What a save that is! Oh my God! David De Gea, what a ‘keeper! The best in the world. He’s the best!’ Ferdinand screamed as the Spaniard pulled off a world-class double save to deny Alexandre Lacazette and Alexis Sanchez.

Lingard’s goal to seal the victory, after some fine play from Paul Pogba, also produced out a classic reaction from Ferdinand.

He yelled: ‘He’s walking past people! Oh my God! That’s why…Pogba! Unbelievable.’

We love you, Rio. Never change.
